About Remarque

Remarque is an artistic online boutique for original photography, art and objects that bring a room into focus.

It was founded in Eugene, Oregon by Jordan Iverson—a self-taught designer, builder, photographer and lifelong maker. His work moves between homes, interiors, hospitality, art and the brands built around them. The medium changes; the habit is the same: notice what others pass by, see what a place could become, and bring the pieces together until they feel right.

Remarque grew from the last part of that process. While designing a house, room or stay, Jordan was always looking for the piece that finished it: a photograph with the right color, an object with an unexpected shape, or something small that shifted the entire composition. This shop gathers those finds and makes that designer’s way of looking available beyond a full-scale project.

What you’ll find here

The collection begins with Jordan’s original photography, drawn from architecture, travel, landscape, signage and overlooked details. It also includes digitally created artwork, prints made to order by selected production partners, and objects chosen for form, material, color, humor or character. Some pieces are quiet. Some are a little strange. Every one caught his eye and earned its place.

The name

In printmaking, a remarque is a small, deliberate mark added by an artist—something that makes the work more personal. The name has always carried a second signature, too: the loose JI mark above the word Remarque. Together they express what the shop is about. A room does not always need to be redone. Sometimes one well-chosen mark changes the way the whole space feels.

Part of a larger practice

Remarque sits alongside Jordan Iverson Signature Homes, Iverson Design Studio and Jordan’s hospitality work. Each is a different expression of the same creative practice: design, build, host, photograph, collect. Here, that point of view becomes something you can bring home—one print, one object, one finishing note at a time.
